BIOGRAPHY
Lyn Hurry, a graduate of University of Western Australia, has been writing seriously for twenty-five years and she is eager to encourage others with similar gifts. Currently she is studying for her Masters in Creative Writing with Tabor Adelaide.

GROW – Under the Southern Cross
This anthology/CD of illustrated stories and poems has developed from GROW Magazine. Edited by Lyn Hurry and Anne Hamilton, and illustrated by Rowena Evans, it features the writing of some of Australia’s best Christian writers of children’s work, including Andrew Lansdown and Rosanne Hawke. OMEGA WRITERS

Recognising a lack of Australian material for performers aged 5 to 15 years, Lyn Hurry has compiled: Spotlight, Limelight, Highlights, Starlight, Footlights and Stagelights (the best of the Lights plus 25 new). Promises I and 2 are for young Christians. Lyn may also be commissioned to write for individual purposes.

CHILDREN’S BOOKS
Recognising a lack of Australian material for performers aged 5 to 15 years, Lyn Hurry has compiled volumes of Poetry: Spotlight, Limelight, Highlights, Starlight, Footlights and Stagelights (the best of the Lights plus 25 new). A keen actor and singer, Lyn has also produced Australian monologues, duologues and small group material suitable for private or classroom tuition: Aussie Shorts, Classic Duos, Dazzling Duos, Character Chats, Small Talk. Fresh Skids and Christmas Treats will be available mid-2009.

WRITING FOR CHRISTIANS
Promises I and 2 are poems for young Christians. Choices I is the first volume of biblical monologues for ages 10 to adult.

ADULT WRITING
Glimpses contains miscellaneous stories and poems. Lyn has co-authored this book with Christian writers Jeanette Grant-Thomson, Joye Alit and Judith Noyes. It is designed as outreach material to women of all ages and denominations. Lyn also has two novels in progress.

COURSES and WORKSHOPS
Lyn Hurry is available for writing/performance workshops in schools, homeschool groups or churches, or as a private tutor. SCWIBES - a Short Creative Writing Course for those 12 years and over - is tailored to the needs of individuals.
