CONDITIONS
COURSE
CONTENT
*Lessons One to Three are
presented as a separate introductory course -
recommended for students new to creative writing or to
those needing to revise basic skills.
*Lessons Four to Ten may be completed in sequence, or
students may select any number at random, according to
their personal preferences.
*Each lesson will contain a complete package with
information, references, practice examples, and
designated questions and exercises to be returned to
the tutor.
*The tutor will make comments and suggestions. (Marks,
reflecting the tutor’s personal opinion - not aligned
with any institution - will be given only if requested
by the student).
*Standards of marking and comment will equate with
senior high school recommendations, but differences in
age and education will be considered where
appropriate. This is a personalised
course to suit the needs and abilities of individuals.
*Future course content may
alter or expand to suit student requirements and
community needs.
CHRISTIAN
PHILOSOPHY
*SCWIBES is biblical but non-denominational in outlook.
*The presumption will be that enrolling students
worship the Triune God and recognise Jesus Christ as
their Saviour.
*Writing exercises and examples will include biblical
references and other appropriate good literature.
TIME FRAME
*The first lesson will be sent directly to students
once the enrolment-agreement details and appropriate
payment have been received.
*There is no time limit; students complete work at
their own pace.
*Student returns completed lesson at own
expense for comment by tutor.
*Subsequent lessons will be sent within a month,
enclosed with a copy of the previous lesson with full
comments and suggestions.
* Arrangement may be made for snail-mailing lessons and
replies if student has no email.
RECORDS
*The tutor will maintain confidential
records of each
student’s work - including photocopies (or email
printouts) of lessons and responses, dates of
correspondence sent and received, payments made - until
course has been completed.
*It is recommended students keep a copy of each
lesson’s work and of all payments and receipts.
COMMUNICATION
*Tutor, Lyn Hurry, will be available for personal
assistance by phone, fax or email. Students should feel
welcome to discuss their work at any time.
